Where do your rates come from?
Our primary source is TwelveData, with the European Central Bank (via Frankfurter API) as a fallback. Rates update every 60 seconds during market hours. European Central Bank rates update once per business day.
Why doesn't the rate match my bank?
We show the mid-market rate - the midpoint between buy and sell prices. Banks, cards, and exchange services add their own markup. See our homepage FAQ for details on typical markups by provider type.
Why haven't rates updated today?
European Central Bank rates only update on business days. Weekends and European bank holidays will show the most recent Friday close. Our primary source (TwelveData) updates more frequently when available.
